To freeze broccoli, you should:

  • Rinse the inflorescences in cool water and spread them on a towel to dry.
  • Place the cabbage in batches in plastic bags.
  • Remove air from the bags and send them to the freezer.

Broccoli is a very soft cabbage, so you do not need to blanch it before freezing.

In order to freeze Brussels sprouts, it is necessary:

  • Disassemble the cabbage on the inflorescence.
  • Blanch cabbage for 1-2 minutes ..
  • Extract the inflorescence from the boiling water and spread into 1 layer on a tray or cutting board to dry.
  • Send cabbage in this form to the freezer for several hours.
  • After the cabbage is completely frozen, remove it from the freezer, spread it into bags and return it to the freezer for storage.

Put the cabbage in packets very quickly so that it does not have time to thaw.
